Special Track on Dependability and Fault Tolerance
Scope and Focus
Dependability describes properties of technical systems, such as reliability, availability, safety, integrity, etc. in order to express a trustworthiness, even in the presence of faults. In the scope of computing systems special attention must be paid to during design and operation phases to achieve these properties to the extent required. One important means to achieve dependability is supporting fault tolerance, i.e. making the system resilient to hardware and software faults by construction. Fault tolerance techniques are in the focus of this conference track, either implemented in hardware or as software-based distributed algorithms. In addition, surrounding techniques will be considered, such as computation models or simulations to assess the impact of fault tolerance techniques to reliability and availability.

Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished papers via Easychair by selecting the track “Dependability and Fault Tolerance”. Papers must be submitted in PDF format, formatted according to Springer LNCS style and must not exceed 15 pages, including references, appendices and figures. Accepted contributions will be part of the ARCS 2025 conference proceedings, published in the Springer Lecture Notes on Computer Science (LNCS) series.

The authors must have addressed those comments in their manuscript, and make sure that their paper is finally published in only one event, i.e., by the time of camera ready version at ARCS, the authors must have withdrawn their submissions from any other event, or they must withdraw from ARCS. | |
